Distance Education From IGNOU

Distance education is very helpful for students in a gigantic country like India where the distance between students and their favourite institutions is more than miles. This distance education is a milestone in the education system where the teacher and student are separated geographically and by time.

The incalculable rate at which science and technology is progressing people around the world need to develop their knowledge and other skills to keep themselves up-to-date with the latest developments in their field of work. This is a global phenomenon and is not confined to our country. The emergence of distance education is a big opportunity for education in our society for quite a number of people.

This provides an opportunity of education for those who stay at remote areas but are very interested in education. This also helps the school/college dropouts to come back after years and start learning all over again for career advancements and other reasons, monetary being one of them. Thus this fulfilment of requests for such a neglected group of people has a very nice effect on our society, thus bringing peace and harmony in the country and imparting education to more people and making our country 100% literate.
